When does a new puzzle come out?

A fresh Satordle puzzle is released every day. Come back tomorrow for a brand-new board.

What counts as an adjacent letter?

Any of the 8 surrounding tiles — horizontal, vertical or diagonal. You can move in any direction as long as the next tile touches the current one.

Can I reuse a tile in the same word?

No. Each tile can only be used once per word. The same tile can, however, appear in different words.

How long do words have to be?

Words must be at least 4 letters long, spelled across the 4×4 board.

What are bonus words?

Rare or uncommon words also hidden in the grid. They don't count toward finishing the puzzle, but they are tracked separately as an extra challenge.

How do hints and helpers work?

The tips button (💡) reveals the opening letters and the path of a random word you have not found yet — you get 15 per puzzle. Three more helpers give you 5 uses each: reveal every first letter, reveal every last letter, or show a short definition clue.
